Designed by Mikael Strand for Vendra in 2023. The Arc is a study in minimal form — a single curved aluminum tube that cantilevers over a marble base, creating a floating pool of light without visible fixtures.
The integrated LED array delivers 850 lumens at 2700K — warm enough for evening reading, bright enough for detailed work. A touch-sensitive dimmer is embedded in the base, offering continuous control from 5% to 100% brightness. The aluminum arm dissipates heat efficiently, allowing for extended operation without degradation.
Each lamp is hand-assembled in Stockholm. The marble base is cut from Carrara stone with natural veining — no two are identical. The aluminum is anodized to resist fingerprints and oxidation. Designed to last decades, with a replaceable LED module rated for 50,000 hours.
