Accessibility

Last updated · May 1, 2026

Vendra is committed to providing a storefront that is usable by everyone, regardless of ability or technology. We continuously improve accessibility and welcome feedback.

Our commitment

We design and build with accessibility in mind from the first sketch — not as a retrofit. Every component in the Vendra design system is reviewed for keyboard operability, screen-reader semantics, and color contrast.

Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at the AA level. We re-audit twice a year against this standard, with assistance from an independent third party.

Accessibility features

The storefront supports full keyboard navigation, with visible focus rings on every interactive element. All product imagery includes meaningful alternative text. Color is never the only signal for status — text and icons are paired with hue.

Forms include explicit labels and validation messages associated to fields by ARIA. Modal dialogs trap focus and return it on dismissal. Live regions announce cart updates and toast notifications to assistive technology.

Feedback

If you encounter a barrier — a component that doesn’t announce correctly, a layout that doesn’t reflow, copy that is hard to read — please let us know.
Email accessibility@vendra.com. We aim to respond within two business days.

Known limitations

Some user-uploaded imagery (specifically older product photography from acquired brands) may lack descriptive alt text. We are working through these systematically. AI-generated descriptions are reviewed by humans before publication, but we welcome corrections.
